The TECHNIQ trim level is an all-wheel drive with a maximum power of 239kW and maximum torque of 605 Nm. It also has a great all-electric range of 519km, which is perfect for those long road trips. The TECHNIQ starts from $89,384*, which is a bit pricier than the DYNAMIQ but still perfect if you need a reliable electric car.

It also has the same all-electric range of 519km, starting from $94,572*, a bit more expensive than the TECHNIQ. However, if you're looking for a top-of-the-line electric car, the EPIQ might be a perfect choice.

Range overview

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 boasts an impressive electric range of up to 544km. This is all thanks to its cutting-edge electric drive system and ultra-low drag coefficient of just 0.21.

The range varies depending on your version, with the rear-wheel drive delivering 228 PS (168 kW) of power and a range of 544 km. In comparison, the all-wheel drive version with 325 PS (239kW) of power has a range of 509km.

The energy efficiency of the IONIQ 6 is impressive. It has a 53-kWh standard battery and RWD motor option consuming only 13.9 kWh/100 km (WLTP combined) with 18-inch tires.

This makes the IONIQ 6 one of the most efficient vehicles in the market. Its E-GMP architecture supports 400-V and 800-V charging infrastructures, with 800-V charging as standard, and can accommodate 400-V charging without additional components or adapters.

Features and Tech

Let's start with the latest tech in the car's exterior and interior. Hyundai drew inspiration from their Prophecy Concept EV, which debuted in March 2020, to design the streamlined IONIQ 6.

The car embodies the concepts of Sensuous Sportiness and Optimistic Futurism, focusing on creating an emotional connection between humans and automobiles. The Streamliner typology of the IONIQ 6 is characterized by clean lines and an aesthetic and aerodynamic design defined as Emotional Efficiency.

To increase energy efficiency and driving range, the IONIQ 6 has a single-curved aerodynamic profile and carefully crafted contours. The car boasts Hyundai's lowest drag coefficient of 0.21.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has a long wheelbase of 2,950 mm and uses the E-GMP platform to create the roomiest first-row legroom of all Hyundai vehicles. The car's interior design is centered around the user, with a Digital Side completing a new user-centric architecture.

The dashboard integrates mirrors, and the center console is of the bridge type, while dual-color selectable mood lighting is available for both the first and second rows. Speed-synchronized lighting modifies the interior lighting based on the car's speed.

The car features buttonless slim doors, an interactive LED steering wheel, and front-row relaxation seats.

The car also has a flat floor and a modular, integrated EV controller with a glossy black screen. This brings all driving information together in one place, reducing the need for buttons. The car's interior includes a 12.3-inch full-touch Audio Video Navigation system and a 12.3-inch digital cluster.

The interior transparency accents include the Crash Pad Garnish, Door Map Packet, and Console Lower Cover. The car is available in two interior trims. Hyundai designers have used several sustainable materials, such as eco-friendly process leather, recycled PET fabric for cloth seats, and bio TPO skin for the dashboard.

The eco-friendly leather uses a dyeing process with flaxseed oil to reduce Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
